Crops such as chili peppers, cotton, rice, sugarcane, tobacco, and mango are among the major crops grown here. Peanuts and sunflowers have also become popular because of the value of vegetable oil. Andhra Pradesh is also home to offices of technology giants such as Microsoft, Infosys, HP, IBM, Oracle, GE, and HSBC.  33% of the country’s limestone reserves come from this region.
