Microsoft has been very successful in India because of the support from its parent company, a wide variety of original and easy to use products for both hardware and software, an India focused strategy, and developing market potential. Microsoft had launched Project Bhasha, a project focused on quickening the local language computing programs, in 2003. India is a resource base and a growing market for Microsoft.
