Educate

Does it make sense to consider outsourcing or offshoring? What are the driving forces for outsourcing in your organization? What are the low-hanging fruits for outsourcing? Should you consider outsourcing or are you better off "insourcing" and building a captive development center? What are the risks?  How can you become better prepared before you embark on this process?  We conduct a needs overview.

Amritt has decades of experience in answering these and other educational questions. CFOs, CEOs and head of operating groups approach us for initial feasibility studies to determine whether this is right for their company.

Assess

Determine which functions are best suited for outsourcing. Decide what types of vendors are going to match your needs. What vendor skills and experience are important to you? When does it make sense to build your own center offshore? At this stage you may wish to make a first cut analysis of some vendors. Also you may wish to develop a transition plan.

Select

Amritt has feet on the street in supply markets offshore, so that we can accelerate detailed vendor  and site evaluation. We seek out the service providers that match your needs as spelled out in the previous phase. We then interview them rigorously. Our vigorous vendor vetting process has created a reputation among vendors.  Our professional network of contacts ensures that we can get independent timely references on our own, so that it much harder for a mediocre supplier to hide behind a few good reference accounts. 

We pre-set the stage for any required vendor visits by you; this can include selected conference calls with promising candidate companies. As required, we then accompany you on-site visits to the surviving candidates for final selection and transition planning. We facilitate global legal agreements that protect your best real interests given the practices in other countries. We help you setup the Service Level Agreements and to plan for disaster recovery and risk mitigation. We can take all or part of the due diligence process on ourselves.

Transition

The pioneers in outsourcing will tell you that this can be the hardest phase of all if you have not received the right advice. Amritt helps you execute this phase in the following dimensions...

  • communicating with your current staff on the impact of outsourcing
  • planning for temporary redundancies that are necessitated by any outsourcing transition
  • knowledge transfer from your company to vendor
  • Issue resolution when surprises happen 

Manage

We help you define and monitor daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reviews. We help you determine how to scale your operations up or down.

Troubleshoot

Occasionally we are called to fix a broken process or recover from a soured relationship. We are happy to bring our expertise to such situations and give you advice that is brutally frank but sensitive to your needs.
