In order to meet Indian’s taste and culture, McDonald’s has developed a vegetarian menu and does not offer beef burgers. Although McDonald’s had numerous challenges involving low awareness, real estate, and the native diet, they were able to overcome these challenges.  McDonald’s was largely successful because they had Global support, local management, localization, product customization, pricing, and by developing a vegetarian menu.
