Our Team
Our professionals have over 20 years of executive level experience at global companies operating from the United States. We are well steeped in both American and Indian culture and are graduates of top universities such as the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). We are based in the Los Angeles area in the town of Cerritos (more about Cerritos), and our clients are located all over the USA, Canada and Western Europe. We have professional staff located in India for local market expertise as needed.
Managing Director: Gunjan Bagla
Gunjan Bagla is the founder and principal of Amritt Ventures, Inc
Gunjan has 25 years of global sourcing and marketing experience. He has held senior positions in global technology sales and marketing. Mr. Bagla has managed teams sourcing products from China, India, Japan, Singapore, and Thailand. He began his career as an engineer for Larsen & Toubro Bangalore, a prominent Indian industrial firm, sourcing French machined components. Mr. Bagla came to the U.S. and later worked as Director of Program Management for Tandon Computer. He was born and raised in India. He currently lives in the United States and travels to India frequently.
His book Business in 21st Century India is due out on July 31, 2008 from the publisher formerly known as Warner Books. He was also the technical editor on John Wiley's Doing Business in India for Dummies (2007).
Gunjan is a Charter Member of The Indus Entrepreneur (TiE), a business association including Western and Indian organizations and served on its Executive Council as global liaison for Southern California. He is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology and currently Vice President of the IIT Alumni Group. Gunjan also has an MBA from Southern Illinois University, where he was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society, His articles on global business have been published in CIO Magazine, Business World, Daily Variety, Dataquest India, and other publications.
Senior Consultant: Rodney Shean
Rodney Shean served as the Vice President of Support Services for a large global Video Games Publisher, in his last corporate role. He was responsible for overseeing a headcount of hundreds and spanning all Internal and External support, documentation, sound and video, and quality assurance.
During this period he spent a great deal of his time working with the producer and programming groups to establish companywide policy and procedure in the planning and development of games.
Earlier in his career, Rod worked as a professional teacher and instructor for over 5 years teaching for both the US Air Force and private computer companies. He has been a project manager for several software and hardware projects supporting local and international groups.
Senior Consultant: Supriya Pande
Supriya Pande, spent four years as a manager at Microsoft Corporation handling complex web sites, content and related media in her last corporate role. She previously worked in technology and media management positions at AT&T and at Ziff Davis.
Senior Consultant: Dinesh Lal
Dinesh Lal is a mechanical engineer with bacelor's and master's degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has over 30 years industry experience with top Indian engineering companies including Larsen & Toubro as well as leading American companies including Eaton and Kohler.
